Adding Capability Tool

Step 1: Click on Add Activity.

Step 2: Enter the Capability Tool title in the Name field.

Step 3: Click # Sort and assign a serial number to the activity.

Example: 2.00. 

Note: The assigned number determines the sequence in which the Activity Item will be displayed. 

Step 4: Set the Activity Visibility to Visible to All to allow both participants and facilitators to access the activity item.

Note: The Activity Visibility settings can be changed from the dropdown menu to set to Visible to Facilitator Only, making the activity item visible only to facilitators.

Step 5: Select Capability Tool under Activity Item Type. 

Alternatively, it can be set to other Activity Types, such as Activity, Demo, or Hands-on, depending on your requirements.

Step 6: Enter a label or date for the Activity Label, if desired.

Step 7: Click the dropdown menu for Button Destination and select Capability Tools.

Step 8: Select the selected capability tool from the dropdown list. 

Note:

• Facilitators can add any tool, whether Public or Private (Toolkit).

• Participants can only add tools they have created, provided they have the Allow Participants to Add and Edit their own activities permission enabled in the Toolkit.

Alternative method: Enter the tool keyword in the Search Tool field and select the desired tool. 

Note: To change the link tool, click on the Unlink button and proceed to select the desired tool. 

Step 9: Enter notes for Facilitators Content. 

Note: These notes will only be visible to users with Facilitator access.

Step 10: Enter notes for Participants Content. 

Note: Both Facilitators and Participants can view these notes. 

Step 11: Edit the font setting, if desired. 

Step 12: Click Create Activity.

Step 13: Toggle on the slider to allow Participants to view the activity when necessary.

Step 14: Click on View for the selected activity. 

Step 15: Click on the Launch Tool Button to access the Capability Tool.
