Note: This will be used if the user needs to provide information before using the tool. The user's input will populate the placeholders in the field before the data is sent to the AI.
Step 1: Click Form Inputs.
Step 2: Click the + icon.
Step 3: Toggle on the Input Field placement field slider.
Note: A pop-up will confirm that the input field has been created and remind you to update the system prompt accordingly.
Step 4: Select the field type from the dropdown list.
Text Field: A field where users can enter short text.
Multi Text Field: A larger field that allows users to enter multiple lines of text.
Dropdown List: A menu that lets users select one option from a list.
Step 5: Enter the field's title.
Step 6: Enter the field's description.
Step 7: Click + icon again to add more User Input field (if required).
Note: Below are the additional Steps required for the Dropdown List for User Input fields
Step 7a: Click on Set Options.
Step 7b: Enter the title of your option in the Option Title field.
Step 7c: Enter the value of your option in the Option Value field.
Note: This input value will be sent to the LLM.
Step 7d: Click + Add New Option.
Step 7e: Repeat step 7b till 7d for add more Options.
Step 7f: Check Sort Option Alphabetically. (Optional)
Note: This will display the option list in alphabetical order. A pop-up will appear confirming that sorting by title has been enabled.
Step 7g: Click outside the pop-up window to close it.
Step 8: Click the Input Field reference to copy it, then place it in your prompts where needed.
Step 9: Click Save Changes.
Outcome: The User Input Fields will be displayed on the Capability Tool launch page.
Note:
To disable the User Input Field, follow the following steps:
Toggle off the Input Field Placement slider.
Edit the prompts to remove the User Input Field.
Click Save Changes.
Note:
To delete the User Input Field, follow the following steps:
Click the bin icon next to the field
Edit the prompts to remove the User Input Field.
Click Save Changes.
